ESTEVE 3ST64 (This model has been replaced by the Esteve/R.Fernandez 40-4864 which is an upgraded model)

Here's an affordable guitar which steel string guitarists are sure to like. Instead of the standard 52mm width at the nut, it has a 48mm nut, and a 640 instead of a 650 mm scale. Thus, the neck is a little more than an 1/8" narrower and 5/8" shorter that standard classicals. This will make it easier to play for players accustomed to steel string guitar necks. To preserve the fullness of the classical guitar we have made this guitar with a standard size classical body. Solid cedar face, African sapelli body, rosewood fingerboard.

I have discontinued importing the Esteve 3ST64, however, I import the R. Fernandez 40-4864 which is similar but with upgraded tuners, real bone saddle, and body of mongoy (AKA ovankol), $649. For current photos go to R.Fernandez Guitar models (see immediately below).
